District Fire Chief/Emergency Coordinator Dan Leighton commented, “This is fantastic news. A new Fire Hall increases our presence in the community, provides a safer environment for our first responders, and allows us to move forward in meeting changing community demands in the future”.
District of Logan Lake Mayor Robin Smith stated, “Our ability to build a new Fire Hall without increasing the tax burden or borrowing additional funds is a testament to great fiscal management. I’m excited for our residents as it ensures we are able to continue to provide top-level emergency services now and for the future”.
The District anticipates construction to begin spring 2016 with completion anticipated in spring 2017.
