Logan Lake to Build New Fire Hall
At the March 15, 2016 Regular Meeting, District of Logan Lake Council voted in favour of entering into discussions with Maloney Construction of Kelowna to construct its new Fire Hall. The new Fire Hall is to be located on a lot in the District’s new Chartrand commercial subdivision. Maloney was the lowest bidder at $3.24 million. Funding to construct the Fire Hall will come from a $2.5 million loan secured by the District, with the remainder of the funds to come from the District’s reserves over the two-year budget/construction cycle.
