Hours of Operation

The campground will open mid-May and closes mid-October. Staff will be available at the campground from 7:00 AM until 5:30 PM 7-days a week.

Campsite operational hours are from 7:00 AM until 11:00 PM. The campground host will be residing at the campsite to answer questions you may have regarding facilities, services and recreational activities in the surrounding area.

Arrivals between 5:30pm and 11:00pm will be checked in the following morning by staff.

Maximum Length of Stay: 14 days consecutively
Check out time: 11:00 AM

Reservations and Fees

Reservations are available starting February 15th.
If after business hours please leave a detailed message, and your call will be returned.
All Taxes are included in prices and reservation fees are Non-Refundable.
Upon making reservations you will be charged for the duration of your visit as per applicable camping fees listed below.

Cancelling Reservations

If a cancellation is made more than 7 days before your scheduled arrival date, the camping fees will be refunded.

If a cancellation is made less than 7 days before your scheduled arrival date, one night's camping fee will be forfeited. Any remaining camping fees will be refunded.

If a cancellation is made on the day of arrival, two night’s camping fee will be forfeited. Any remaining camping fees will be refunded.
Reservations are held until 11 AM of the day after the scheduled arrival date. If you do not notify us of a late arrival, your reservation will be cancelled and all camping fees will be forfeited.

Changing Reservations:

A Fee of $6 will apply to any changes made to a reservation.
Delaying your arrival date or shortening your stay is considered a cancellation.

Camping Party Sizes

  • 1-4 persons 16 years of age or older to a maximum of 8 persons (including 15 years of age and younger).
  • At least 1 member of the camping party must be 16 years of age or older.
  • 1 vehicle and trailer, either one (but not both) may be an RV.
  • An additional vehicle (non RV) may be allowed on site for an additional vehicle charge.
  • Only 1 party is allowed per campsite unless authorized by Park Facility Operator; if you arrive with more vehicles or people than you have reserved for accommodation may not be available.

Campground Information

  • Washrooms - 2 public washrooms are available with hot water showers with a keyless entry system; you will receive an access code upon your registration.
  • Central water taps - 3 taps have been provided for your use in the campground. They are located near sites #3, #12 and #22.
  • Payphone is located on the east side of the campsite next to the public washrooms.
  • Laundromat is located on Apex drive next to the car wash.
  • Sanitary disposal station is located in front of the public works yard on Meadow Creek Road (Hwy 97d).
  • Nature Trail entrance is located between sites #10 and #11 and will take you around the lake into Bill Maggs Park.
  • Visitor Information Center is located in the Rec Center parking lot inside the mining shovel.

Lake Information

  • Lake Size: 16 ha. (40 acres), 6800 ft. of Shoreline, 3500 ft. Elevation, 25 ft. Deepest Point
  • Lake Freeze: Early to Mid - December
  • Lake Thaw: Early to Mid - May.  Aerator is installed to prevent Winterkill
  • Type of Fish: Rainbow Trout (2 fish limit)
  • Most Effective Methods: Electric Motors only, Fly Fishing, Trolling
  • Road Access: Directly off Hwy  97D (Meadow Creek Rd), 1 km from Downtown, Next to Golf Course.

Rules and Regulations

Excessive Noise shall not be permitted between the hours of 11:00pm and 8:00am. Please respect your fellow campers.
Visitors must leave campsites by 11:00pm. Only registered campers are permitted in the campsites after 11:00pm.

Campfires are to be contained in steel fire pits and are not to exceed half meter in height. Fires may be prohibited depending on Provincial high hazard ratings. Fire wood will be available for purchase at $6 per bundle. Ensure your fire is out if you are not in attendance.

Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up pet feces and depositing it in garbage containers.

Liquor consumption is not permitted anywhere in the park except in registered campsites.

Firearms - handling and discharging of firearms, pellet guns and air rifles are prohibited

ATV and Dirt Bikes may not be operated with in the municipal campground area. Only registered motor vehicles may be operated in the campground. Trail facilities with drop areas are located near by.

Trees and Shrubs are easily damaged; do not use them for wiener sticks. Leave flowers and other plants to grow helping us to protect our nature.

Clothes lines are not permitted; they damage our trees and are unsightly.

Recycling containers are located throughout the campsite for your convenience.

Garbage Disposal containers are provided in a central location; please do not dispose of your garbage in washroom containers. Please remove all garbage from campsite prior to checking out. Please do not leave garbage in fire pits as it will attract wild animals.

Bears - Remember you are in bear country and Logan Lake is a prime setting for inductive wildlife. Please ask our attendants for our bear aware handout. Ensure all food and cooking utensils are stored in vehicles or in air tight containers. Do not leave garbage in fire pits. Make lots of noise while walking through trails and immediately report any bear sightings to attendant.

Valuables should not be left unattended. Report all thefts to the park attendant as soon as possible.

Water Safety - As the park does not provide a lifeguard all children must be supervised and safe swimming procedures should be practiced at all times.

Boating - Only electric powered boats are permitted on Logan Lake.

Fishing - Limitations of a 2 Trout per day maximum.
