Logan Lake acquires its pristine water from a series of deep wells. The system has a capacity limit of 3,650 people. The water is not treated as it naturally meets the Canadian Drinking Water Standards; however, the Department of Health in Kamloops tests the water on a weekly basis.
2010 Water Regulations Please be advised that effective June 1, 2010 water usage will be as follows: WATERING HOURS: Odd numbered civic addresses may water on odd numbered days: even numbered civic addresses may water on even numbered days between the hours of 5:00 - 9:00 am and/or 6:00 - 10:00 pm. OTHER WATER USES: All hoses used outdoors should be equipped with a working spring-loaded shutoff device. Hand watering of plants using a hose with a spring-loaded shutoff nozzle or a hand-held container is permitted at any time. The District uses primary treatment to dispose of sewage. The system involves a combination of aerated lagoons that flow into rapid filtration ponds. The system has a capacity of 1,500 cubic metres per day and can serve up to approximately 4,000 people.
