Cross-Country Skiing

The X-Country trails range from Beginner loops of less then a kilometer to Intermediate and Expert loops.

Ski Trail Conditions:

Ski trails are packed and are in Good Spring Condition. The trails will no longer be groomed for this season.

Regional Parks

Tunkwa Lake

Tunkwa Provincial Park consists of two man-made trout-fishing lakes, Tunkwa and Leighton.

There are campgrounds located on both lakes. Tunkwa is in the top 10 provincial rainbow trout fisheries. Tunkwa Provincial Park is a year-round recreation area, with camping, hunting, horseback riding, wildlife viewing, fishing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling.
