Competitive Sporting Facilities
The District of Logan Lake maintains several sporting facilities for public use. There are 2 Ball Diamonds located at the secondary school and a 3rd named "Lakers Field" on Pikes Road. Logan Lake also has Tennis Courts located next to the Recreation Centre parking lot and 2 Soccer Fields. For more information and booking of these facilities contact the Public Works Superintendent.
Cross Country SkiingThe dry snow and open spaces make Logan Lake a cross-country skier's dream. The Logan Lake Ski Trail system is one of the best in the province with the trails beginning within the community and extending out into the surrounding wilderness. Ski Trail Conditions:The Cross-Country Ski Trails are now open for the season. Trailes were groomed late January and are in fair to good condition. |

Disc GolfThe Copper Ridge Disc Golf Course is conveniently located above Maggs Park. A combination of frisbee and golf, disc golf courses are growing in popularity throughout the province. Similar to golf in course layout and scoring, players 'toss' special discs at a basket while navigating various challenges. The Pro course length is 5195 feet with a 290 feet tee and the Amateur course length is 1919 feet with a 179 feet tee. This is a free activity.

Fishing & Ice FishingThe beautiful Highland Valley is renowned for its excellent fishing. The lakes of the area are teeming with fish and are considered to have some of the best fishing in the province. With over 30 lakes in the immediate area, the wide variety makes it easy to find at least one that suits individual desire. Most of the lakes offer camping facilities and some of the larger lakes have commercial resorts that offer cabins and boat rentals. Some of the most popular lakes in the area are Paska, Tunkwa, Lac Le Jeune, Stake Lake, Leighton, Mamit and of course, Logan Lake.

GolfThe Meadow Creek Golf Club, situated on the gently rolling hills just east of Logan Lake, is a challenging 9-hole golf course that complements an array of sporting facilities that can be found in the region. This course is beautifully nestled amid local pine and aspen forest. This nine hole, par 72, course provides an interesting mix of challenges and enticements. After your game, relax at the licensed clubhouse and enjoy a snack on the outdoor patio. |

Logan Lake Ranch & Country Club
The Logan Lake Ranch & Country Club Grounds are situated at the corner of Hwy 97C and 97D (just at the edge of town). The grounds comprise of a number of barns and paddocks at very reasonable rental rates, indoor and outdoor arena, round ring, stands, announcers booth, clubhouse and a concession in use during events. The club arranges trail rides throughout the year, fun days for the children/youth of the club and barbecues and appreciation days for the members and their families in the warmer months. They also host the ATV Poker Run and the Little Britches Rodeo Annual Events.

Pond Hockey RinkPlay the grassroots Canadian game outside on a frozen lake, the way it was meant to be. Enjoy the fresh air and the natural setting of the game. SnowmobilingSnowmobiling is another popular activity that attracts enthusiasts from all over the region. The crown land surrounding the community is open to all snowmobilers and offers hundreds of square kilometers for exploration. Speed Skate Owen's OvalSince 2006, the community of Logan Lake and the Kamloops River City Racers Speed Skating Club collectively create the 400 meter long track skating oval. Owen's Oval is maintained by the Logan Lake ATV Club voluntarily. Approximately 11 clubs across British Columbia meet here for the Regional Speed Skate Championships annually. It is also the center of activity during the annual Polarthon. |
