Where is the landfill transfer station?

The landfill transfer station is located 5.1 km south west of Logan Lake on Highway 97C towards Ashcroft.

What are the hours of the transfer station?

March 1 to October 31 (summer hours)
Monday - Closed
Tuesday to Sunday - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

November 1 to February 28 (winter hours)
Monday - Closed
Tuesday to Sunday - 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Please note that the landfill transfer station is operated by the TNRD and tipping fees apply. Eco cards can be purchased at the municipal office, Highland Valley Foods and the Esso service station. All inquires pertaining to fees should be directed to the TNRD at 1-877-377-8673.

Where do we take recyclables?

Blue bag recycling items may be taken to the Public Works Yard at 79 Meadow Creek Road from Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; OR to the landfill transfer station is located 5.1 kilometers south west of Logan Lake on Hwy 97C towards Ashcroft.

Yes, the District of Logan Lake operates a dog pound at the Public Works Yard. For more information please contact the Animal Control / Bylaw Enforcement Officer at 250-852-0829 or the District office at 250-523-6225.

Do we have a local Veterinarian?

Yes, our local Veterinarian is Dr. Paul Molnar. You may contact him at 250-320-6844 at his home office, located at 9508 Hwy 97C, Mamit Lake Road or at the Merritt Veterinary Hospital at 250-378-2120.

What are the hours of the District office?

The District office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, except holidays.

What payment options are available at the District office?

The District of Logan Lake accepts cash, cheque or debit payments.
