The Breeding Bird Atlas Program is currently seeking volunteers to observe and report the status of all birds in a specified area over a five year period. The minimum requirement is 20 hours over five years. This information provides a history of changes around the province. This will be of interest to those who are involved in birding and the outdoors. Further information can be found at birdatlas.bc.ca

2010 Water Regulations
Please be advised that effective June 1, 2010 water usage will be in effect as follows:
Boulevard Parking
Burning Permits are required from the Fire Chief of the District of Logan Lake for land clearing and burning of yard debris within the municipality.
Residents and visitors are strongly encouraged to be vigilant in reducing the risk of fire within town, and in the back country. Regardless of the lower risk in these specific areas, the public is urged to remain cautious with their use of campfires.
