The Winner of the 2011 Annie Logan Scholarship Award is Kayleen Williston. The Winner of the 2011 Gabriel Logan Award is Taylor Makowe. Congratulations to both students.
Community Achievement Certificate
The Mayor and Council has recognized the Logan Lake ATV Club as Community Achievers for the work they did on the lake to prepare for the Varion Pond Hockey Classic tournament, for Polar Carnival and for clearing a lane on the lake for skating. Congratulations to all of you for your hard work and dedication!

The Mayor and Council has recognized Charlene Vandean for her work as the District's Grant Writer for the past 3 years. The District requested $487,124 in grants and received $454,224 in funding. Charlene's success rate for obtaining grants is 93.2% which is one of the best rates in the Province. Logan Lake has benefited as a result of Charlene's work.

Breeding Bird Atlas - Volunteers Needed
The Breeding Bird Atlas Program is currently seeking volunteers to observe and report the status of all birds in a specified area over a five year period. The minimum requirement is 20 hours over five years. This information provides a history of changes around the province. This will be of interest to those who are involved in birding and the outdoors. Further information can be found at birdatlas.bc.ca
