Message from the Mayor

On behalf of our residents I extend a very warm welcome to everyone visiting our website and encourage you to come to Logan Lake, "Discover our Nature" and enjoy the many all-season recreational opportunities we have to offer.

Logan Lake is centrally located in the Southern Interior of BC just 35 minutes South of Kamloops or Northwest of Merritt and takes great pride in being one of the friendliest and cleanest municipalities in the Province. We are a progressive, family-oriented community with amenities that include an elementary school, secondary school, library, health center, seniors centre, policing and emergency services, shopping, banking and postal service, auto service, restaurants, lodging, camping and recreational facilities, parks, trials, golf courses, lakes and a new 'state-of-the-art' Bike Skills Park for our youth.

Our many seasonal events attract participants and visitors from all over during the winter for Polar Carnival, Western Cup of Pond Hockey Tournament, Logan Lake Loop Speed Skating event and our unique winter "Polar-thon" triathlon; and during the summer for Canada Day celebrations, Logan Lake Days, the Lions Lobsterfest, Highland Valley Copper Open House, Little Britches Rodeo and ATV BC to name a few.

Logan Lake has also become a leading example of what a Fire Smart community can look like, by developing one of the first Community Wildfire Protection Plans in the Province. In addition to protecting the community from wildfire, these efforts have allowed the community to build an extensive trails network that is continually being improved upon.
