Health Services

Logan Lake has primary health care services available within the community. The Logan Lake Health Centre offers:

lab  long term care primary health care x-ray mental health counseling  drug & alcohol counseling

diagnostic diabetic & MS support groups nutritional counseling emergency services physiotherapy

British Columbia's Health & Seniors Information Line is available to assist clients in accessing our resources.  Please click on The Ministry of Healthy Living and Sport Website for more information.

Health Care is also provided through Public Health Unit.  The major referral hospital in the region is Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. 

BC Transit - Health Connections Service, Logan Lake - Merritt - Kelowna

The Kamloops Custom transit system provides transit service between the following areas:

• 1 return trip each Monday and Wednesday between Logan Lake and Kamloops
• 1 return trip each Tuesday between Merritt and Kamloops
• 1 return trip each Thursday between Logan Lake, Merritt and Kelowna
• 1 return trip each Friday between Chase and Kamloops

HealthLink BC

Getting and staying healthy has become a top priority for British Columbians.  In response to this demand, the Government of BC has launched HealthLink BC.  This new service provides access to non-emergency health information and services to all residents of our province.  HealthLink BC is a phone number, a website and print resources that put services and health know-how into the hands and homes of BC residents including our citizens and taxpayers.  Simply dial 8-1-1, and you will connect with a nurse, a pharmacist or a dietician from wherever they are, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Our website www.healthlinkbc.ca enables community members to look up symptoms or services and provides an expanded health navigation system for both the public and healthcare professionals.
