Burning Permits & Notices

Please be advised that as of October 19, 2009 and until further notice, Category 1, 2 and 3 open fires are no longer prohibited and are permitted at all elevations throughout the Kamloops Fire Centre.
No one within the District of Logan Lake shall burn any yard refuse or slash on newly developed lots without first obtaining a Burning Permit from the Fire Chief of Logan Lake or his designate.

Please refer to the venting index information regarding burning.  Burning is only done if the index is 'good'.

Discourage bears from entering your property. Keep Safe!
The following items attract bears and should be properly managed.

• Pet Food
• Feeders
• Wildlife Feeders
• Smokers
• BBQ Grills
• Compost Piles
• Beehives
• Fruit Trees
• Petroleum Products
• Nut-Bearing Trees and Shrubs
• Small Livestock such as Goats
• Rabbits, Pigs and Chickens
